Bentley OpenUtilities CONNECT Edition Help

To View Design Unit Rules for Feature Types

Using the Compatible Unit Rule Editor, you can view all the existing compatible unit rules for a selected feature type. The Compatible Unit Rule Editor is opened with the CU Rule Editor command on Bentley OpenUtilities Designer's Tools menu. If you do not belong to a user group with the capability to configure unit rules, the dialog box will open in read-only mode. In read-only mode, the commands for creating, modifying, and deleting rules are disabled.

The Compatible Unit Rules grid on this dialog box displays all existing unit rules for the feature type that is currently selected in the Feature box. Each unit rule in the list is shown with its ID code, class code, and name. The width of the columns can be changed by dragging the column splitters horizontally. Information in the CU ID, Class Code, and CU Name columns can be sorted in ascending or descending order by clicking the column headers.

The Rule Attributes grid displays the names and values of attributes associated with the rule that is currently selected in the Compatible Unit Rules grid.

By default, all existing rules are displayed for the selected feature type. You can also view specific lists of rules for a feature type by applying various filter criteria (see Viewing Filtered Lists of Compatible Unit Rules).
